Ma Chubo, from Xicheng District, Beijing, is a Ph.D. Candidate in Law at Peking University. His research focuses on the history of early modern political thought, international relations and traditional security, as well as cross-Strait relations and Taiwan-related issues. He graduated from RDFZ, the School of Journalism at Renmin University of China, and the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China. He has served as a member of the editorial board for Report on the Study of Chinese Marxist Theory (2023), published by the Party School of the CPC Central Committee Press; a member of the fifth cohort (2024–2025) of CISS Youth at the Center for International Security and Strategy, Tsinghua University (CISS); and a member of the sixth congress (2025–2026) of the International Association of I-Ching Studies (IAICS). He has delivered his research to various national ministries and local governments in the form of both open publications and policy consultation reports. Within the CISS Youth program, his work will focus on cross-Strait relations and traditional security issues.
