Dong Ting specialize in non-traditional security issues, with a focus on technology and maritime security. Prior to joining Tsinghua, she was a Boya Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of International Studies, Peking University. She holds a Ph.D. in U.S. Strategy Studies from the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations. She has led several national research projects and published widely in both English and Chinese peer-reviewed journals. Her book, The Logic of U.S. Asia-Pacific Maritime Strategy, was published in Singapore.
