On November 10, 2023, the sixth Paris Peace Forum was held at the Palais Bronia in Paris, France. French President Emmanuel Macron attended and addressed the opening ceremony of the conference. Fu Ying, China's former ambassador to the UK, was invited to participate in the forum and spoke at a sub-panel entitled "Seeking Common Ground in a World of Rivalry". Fu Ying mainly responded to issues such as the "Global South", Sino-US competition and challenges to multilateralism, and exchanged views with scholars from various countries on current international hot spots.
